Ocean Growth Security provides residential cleaning in Dubai for villas, apartments, townhouses and the shared areas of residential buildings. Teams are directly employed and vetted, and every home runs to a written scope agreed before the first visit.
Residential cleaning has a different risk profile from commercial work. Someone is letting you into their home, so vetting, supervision and consistency of the same team matter more than the size of the operation. We keep the same cleaners on the same properties wherever the schedule allows.
What residential cleaning covers
- Living areas and bedrooms — floors, skirtings, surfaces, mirrors, internal glass and light dusting.
- Kitchens — worktops, cabinet fronts, splashbacks, sink, hob and appliance exteriors. Oven and fridge interiors are separate tasks.
- Bathrooms — tiles, grout, sanitaryware, glass screens, mirrors and fittings, including descaling where hard water has left marks.
- Floors by surface — marble, tile, vinyl, timber and carpet, each cleaned with the method the surface needs rather than one product for the whole house.
- Balconies and terraces — sweeping and washing where access and drainage allow.
- Shared areas of residential buildings — lobbies, lifts, corridors and stairwells, where the client is a building rather than a household.
Villas, apartments and building common areas
These are three different jobs and we quote them separately:
- Villas — larger floor area, more bathrooms, external areas and often a garden room or majlis. Typically needs a longer visit or a two-person team.
- Apartments — usually faster per visit, but access, parking and lift bookings have to be planned with the building.
- Building common areas — a facilities contract rather than a household service. See common area cleaning.
Recurring visits or a one-off deep clean
These are different products, and the difference matters:
- Recurring cleaning — weekly, fortnightly or monthly visits that keep a home at a steady baseline. Cheaper per visit because the work is maintaining rather than recovering.
- A one-off deep clean — a reset for a home that has been closed up, is being handed over, or has just come out of building work. It takes longer and costs more per visit because it is addressing accumulated dirt.
Booking a recurring visit to fix a home that needs a deep clean is the most common mistake, and it is why a first visit sometimes looks underwhelming.
Vetting, keys and access
Residential work requires a higher standard of trust than commercial work, and the process should be visible:
- Every cleaner is vetted before their first visit — identity, background and references.
- Keys and access cards are recorded under a signed control procedure, not handed around informally.
- The same team is kept on the same property wherever possible, so a household is not re-explaining its preferences every fortnight.
- Cleaners are briefed on what is private, what must not be moved, and who to contact if something is found damaged or broken.
Products, pets and households with specific needs
We use products suited to the surface and hold material safety data sheets for everything brought into a home. If the household includes young children, pets, or someone with asthma or an allergy, tell us and we will adjust what is used. Where a client prefers their own products, we will use those instead, provided they are safe for the surfaces involved.
How residential cleaning is priced
Pricing is based on the property type, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, the total floor area, the condition, whether it is furnished, and the frequency. A deep clean of a closed-up two-bedroom apartment and a weekly clean of the same apartment are not comparable jobs, and a per-hour rate quoted without a visit tells you very little.
To quote, send us the property type, the size, the number of bathrooms, whether it is currently occupied, and whether you need a one-off or recurring service. For portfolios and multiple properties, tell us the number of units and the locations and we will quote as a route.
Frequently asked questions
Will we get the same cleaners each visit?
Wherever the schedule allows, yes. Consistency is one of the reasons clients stay with a contractor rather than rebooking each time.
Do you clean inside ovens and fridges?
Yes, quoted as separate items because they take materially longer than a standard kitchen clean.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes — machines, products and cloths. We only need access to water and power.
Can you clean a villa with outdoor areas?
Yes, including terraces, balconies and entrance areas. Garden maintenance is not part of residential cleaning and is quoted separately if needed.
Do you work with landlords and property managers?
Yes. We clean tenancy handovers, short-let turnarounds and portfolios as well as homes lived in by their owners.
