Health and safety for our guards means knowing the site hazards, the assembly point, and when to stop a task that is unsafe.
Before the shift
The guard is told about traffic, heights, heat, and any area that is off limits.
On duty
Unsafe conditions are reported instead of being worked around in silence.

Wardens follow the building plan described on the fire wardens page.
Health and safety before a shift or a clean
Guards and cleaners are told about traffic, heat, heights, wet floors, and rooms that are off limits before they start. Unsafe conditions are reported. A task stops when it cannot be done safely from the floor.
Window cleaning and stair cleaning stay within reach unless access equipment and a method have been agreed. We do not send someone onto an unplanned height.
Fire and first response
Fire wardens follow the building alarm plan. A lifeguard follows the pool’s emergency steps. Neither role is implied on a cleaning-only booking. Assembly points are the building’s, not ones we invent.
