Ocean Growth Security provides close protection and VIP security in Dubai for private families, executives, visiting delegations and public figures. The work is quiet by design: trained close protection officers, unmarked vehicles, and a written protection plan agreed with you before anyone is deployed.
Most of our VIP work in Dubai starts with a specific trip — a family visiting for a few weeks, an executive on a roadshow, an artist in town for a show. We survey the itinerary, agree the level of cover, and put people on it. When the visit ends, the cover ends. There is no minimum contract and no attempt to sell you a permanent team you do not need.
Close protection is not priced by headcount alone. The number of officers depends on the principal, the itinerary, the venues and how public the visit is. A private family stay in a Palm Jumeirah villa with a single car movement a day needs far less than a public appearance at a mall or an arena.
We begin with a short assessment covering the itinerary, the exposure and any known concerns. From that we produce a protection plan that states how many officers are on duty, the hours they cover, the vehicles required, the routes agreed and the escalation procedure if something changes. You see the plan and the cost before anyone starts.
Good close protection should not be noticeable. Our officers dress to the venue, travel in unmarked vehicles, and are briefed to stay close enough to react and far enough to be ignored. In hotel lobbies and restaurants that means plain clothes and standing positions that do not block the room. At a private residence it means officers who know the household routine and do not disrupt it.
Where a principal wants visible presence — a deterrent rather than a shadow — we provide that instead, and say plainly which approach suits the situation. The two are different jobs and we will tell you which one you are buying.
Ocean Growth Security is a SIRA-licensed Dubai company. Our security staff hold the licences their roles require, and every detail runs to a written post order rather than a verbal briefing. Officers are trained in first aid, defensive driving and incident reporting, and every movement is logged so there is a record of what happened and when.
Where an assignment requires coordination with the authorities, we handle that in advance rather than during the movement. That includes venue permissions, road access and any notification the venue or the police require.
We work across Dubai — Deira, Bur Dubai, Business Bay, Downtown, DIFC, Jumeirah, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, JBR, Al Barsha and the Expo and Dubai South areas — and we take assignments elsewhere in the UAE when a client needs continuity across emirates.
Can you cover a single evening? Yes. Short assignments for dinners, launches and private events are normal work for us, provided we have enough notice to brief the officers properly.
Do you provide female close protection officers? Where the principal or a family member requires a female officer, we will say at the scoping stage whether we can staff it for the dates you need.
Can you work alongside our existing driver or household staff? Yes, and it usually improves the detail. We brief them on the movement plan so the principal is not handed between two teams that have not spoken.
What notice do you need? For a straightforward detail in Dubai, a few days is usually enough. For a visit involving multiple venues, vehicles or public appearances, we would rather have two weeks so the advance work can be done properly.
If you are planning a visit or want a standing arrangement for a family or executive team in Dubai, contact us with the dates and the itinerary and we will tell you what cover is sensible and what it costs.
Our Aim is to provide exceptional security service and workmanship which is cost effective for the companies. In addition to this we strive to render our services in reliable, efficient and professional manner.
